Location

We are located in the norther-western part of Croatia on the biggest island of Adriatic Sea – island of Krk. The town Omišalj is 5 km from the Rijeka International Airport and 6 km from the Krk bridge which connects Krk island with the mainland. It’s the first town on the island when coming from the bridge. Once in the town, follow the signs to Hoteli Omišalj down on the seaside.

When arriving from the north, choose directions towards Rijeka or Split. Once in Rijeka, drive towards Split or Krk island (Otok Krk). Turn to the Krk bridge and follow the signs to Omisalj, which is the first town on the right hand side once you have crossed the bridge.

Getting here by bus

To find a bus from different cities in Croatia or also from other countries, please use the following website – Autotrans.

For example there are buses coming from Zagreb straight to Omišalj.

If there’s no straight route to Omišalj, then we suggest you to find transport to the nearby big city Rijeka, which is about 40 min drive from Omišalj. The buses from there come after ever hour or hour and a half. The bus schedule can be found from here – Autotrans . Choose Rijeka as departure place and Omišalj as arrival place.

Getting here by ship

It’s possible to take a ship to Rijeka and then use some other transportation to get to Omisalj. Rijeka is connected by ship lines to big coastal Croatian cities like Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik and also to some cities in Italy. More information can be found from here – Jadrolinija
